Dear Friends,

Small beginnings often bring about great things.

I had the opportunity to take some time off last week. It was during this time I reflected upon some of the things that simply make our daily life better. It occurred to me that nearly all of the tools we have today were created by someone trying to make their own life easier. The simplest of these tools, like building blocks, often open great vistas of opportunity for the world.

The following illustrates this.

Television, a great blessing to mankind, was conceived by a teenager in Idaho. In 1921, Philo T. Farnsworth, a 14-year-old Idaho farm boy, while doing ordinary plow work this extraordinary idea came to him. He was plowing straight furrows in his father's field with a disc harrow. He envisioned that he could transmit straight lines from one image dissector to be reproduced in another. In the six committed years that followed, Farnsworth was able to realize his vision and invented the television. Like Thomas Edison and Alexander Graham Bell before him, Philo’s simple idea was the portal to many of the 20th century’s greatest achievements.

Almost 60 years ago the same kind of vision lead a contractor by the name of James Glover to create something that would make his work easier, the very first texture spray machine. This simple invention started the texture machine revolution, allowing for an easier, more efficient way to accomplish a familiar task.

Moreover, as the envelope of knowledge is pushed, its boundaries are expanded, almost with endless elasticity. It is much like having a never ending array of curtains in space. At first, each curtain is lifted with the expectation it will be the last or the conclusion of all space. But as one pursues his objectives it will dawn on him that there is no end to the progress that he can make. Thus illustrating, the power is in each of us if we are anxiously engaged in the pursuit of something better.

The reason Spray Force commands the spray equipment industry is from its wealth of contracting knowledge, manufacturing experience, and timeless commitment to innovation. Every day we are directly engaged with serious contractors studying daily information, facts, truths, and trends. From this knowledge, prototypes are thoroughly tested for the benefit of our customers and ultimately the plastering and drywall industry.

It is with these small beginnings that have brought about great things. You can always count on Spray Force to be actively engaged in the improvement of your equipment to get your job done faster and safer. Spray Force’s leadership in equipment innovation is taken very seriously. Everything that we do at Spray Force is anchored in the needs of our customers and the advancement of our industry.
