I want to take a moment to thank all of our loyal customers
from the past four decades. Your daily demands motivate and compel Spray
Force to continue to produce the best performing and most dependable
plaster, fireproofing, and drywall spray equipment on the planet. As
a former Spray Force customer, I was always impressed by the quality
and dependability of my Spray Force equipment. Now, I am humbled to
be a part of this long-standing tradition and look forward to providing
you with unparalleled service and craftsmanship to meet your every job
requirement.
The other day I had the opportunity to visit with a competitor's
salesman. During our conversation, he boasted about the incredible length
of time that the plaster pump has gone virtually unchanged. To quote
him, “if
it ain't broke, we won't fix it.” And they haven't. This encounter reminded
me of a favorite parable.
A man who was lost and dying of thirst in the desert
stumbled upon an old abandoned house. Not much was left of the house
but a couple of walls and a very old pump on a well. The man started
to pump furiously but to no avail, no water came from the well. Frustrated
and looking around he noticed a small jug with a cork at the top and
instructions written on the side. It read, “You have to prime the pump with this
entire jug of water. P.S. Fill it again before you leave.” He pulled
the cork and found the jug to be full of water. Should he pour all
of this life saving water down the pump? He asked himself, “What if
it didn't work?” Could he trust the instructions and the old, rickety
pump? Something told him to follow the advice and risk his life. He
poured every last drop of water down the pump and again pumped furiously
up and down. Sure enough, the water began to gush out. He drank all
he could and then filled the old jug again and corked it. Before leaving,
he added his own message beneath the old instructions. “P.S. You have
to give everything before getting anything back.”
To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken to move
forward. Companies who reject needs, changes, and improvements may avoid
temporary setbacks, but the long term consequences are great. Here at
Spray Force, we are actively engaged in innovation and industry advancement,
looking to bring you something safer, more convenient, and more reliable
than anything else made or available on the planet. The easy road, chosen
by the competition for the past 5 decades, is to produce the same machines
year after year. We prefer to take the road that is less traveled. Our
commitment to bring you something safer, more convenient, and more reliable
is the reason Spray Force leads the entire spray equipment manufacturing
industry.
In my brief tenure as president, many wonderful things
have happened at Spray Force. Impressive, cutting edge improvements
have been made to all of our industry leading equipment. The swimming
pool plastering contractors now have a radically improved plaster pump,
the fully hydraulic Excalibur Hydra. This incredible advancement in
the pool plaster industry includes a full spout mixer and a hopper that
is 60% larger than anything on the market. Our industry leading mobile
plaster pump is now called the Excalibur SR30. It has a radically improved
trailer with electric brakes, torque flex suspension, a work platform,
and a “proprietary” screen
shaker box. All of our industry leading Hurricane drywall pumps have
new suspension frames. In addition, the Hurricane 170 and 225 are now
equipped with more standard horsepower and more compressor power, a
change that is unrivaled by any of our competitors. Equipment improvements
are continually in development.
We hope you enjoy your visit to Sprayforce.com. To our competitors,
hold on to your seat as the ride ahead will get rocky. To our valued
customers, stay tuned for the latest industry advancements. We look
forward to serving you now and in the future for all of your spray equipment
needs.
Kindest regards,

Bryan Thompson
